Role Impact: As the Kingdom Social Media Officer, you will be at the forefront of shaping our digital presence, enhancing the Kingdom of the Outlands’ connection with its members and the wider Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) community. Your role is crucial in driving engagement, building community spirit, and spreading the richness of our kingdom’s activities and values. By collaborating with various kingdom officers and members, you will:

  • Tell the Kingdom’s Story:
    • Share captivating narratives and visuals that highlight the unique events, people, and traditions within the Kingdom of the Outlands.
  • Foster Online Community:
    • Create and manage social media content that facilitates interaction, discussion, and a sense of belonging among members and participants.
  • Showcase Kingdom Culture:
    • Promote the diversity and richness of the Outlands by featuring a wide range of activities, cultures, and historical aspects through engaging posts and campaigns.
  • Promote Events and Announcements:
    • Ensure that all members are informed of upcoming events, announcements, and important updates, increasing participation and awareness.
  • Preserve and Share Knowledge:
    • Contribute to the documentation and sharing of historical knowledge and SCA traditions through well-researched and accurate social media content.
  • Enhance the Digital Experience:
    • Create a visually appealing and informative social media presence that reflects the vibrancy and inclusivity of the Outlands, making it easy for members to connect and engage.
