Outlands Earl Marshal

IN SEARCH OF THE NEXT OUTLANDS EARL MARSHAL

Greetings Outlanders,

It has been and continues to be an honor to serve you as Earl Marshal!  However, mundane responsibilities are calling and it is time that I find my replacement.

  • The position of the Kingdom Earl Marshal is largely administrative, overseeing branch deputies, maintaining reports to and participating in meetings with Society marshalate positions.  There is also the additional honor of ensuring that the Outlands Crown Tournament runs smoothly.
  • Please remember – this position can be filled by an active member of ANY of the martial branches, not just the armoured combat community as has been true in the past.
  • Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about the position.
  • Please send letters of interest to myself, their Royal Majesties, and their Royal Highnesses (earlmarshal@outlands.org; crown@outlands.org; heirs@outlands.org) by February 28, 2025.
  • These letters should include the following information: SCA Name, Mundane Name, Membership Number and expiration date, Previous Marshalate experience, Current Martial Authorizations.  It can also include any ideas that you may have for the marshalate or goals you may have for while in this role.
