Greetings to the Populace of the Outlands!

The harvest season has always evoked a sense of accomplishment in my mind.  A time to see the fruits of your labor fully manifested.  What was once a seed has now become a pumpkin and will soon become soup, bread, or curry to share with family and friends.  There is the same sense of accomplishment in the SCA.  Projects that were folds of fabric a few short months ago will be on display and taught at A&S Collegium.  A summer of learning and campaigning has seasoned our warriors into combatants to fight in Crown Tourney.  During this summer, the seeds were planted to create a kingdom calendar event rotation schedule for 2024-2025.  In partnership with the Crown, we have published the kingdom calendar with dates and the responsible baronies who will ensure these events occur.  Rest assured while the dates are set, there is flexibility.  Baronies may trade the responsibility of holding their assigned event with each other.  Shires and colleges may offer to run an event on behalf of the barony, or offer up a site within their territory to host an event.  There will be more to come regarding events and how we can best support each other to offer hospitality and bring The Dream to life.  Please do not hesitate to reach out with any feedback.
