Good People of the Outlands!
My time as Windhover Bard is nearing its end, and Their Majesties will require a new bard to entertain Their people. The Windhover Bard competition will be held at Caer Galen Midwinter on December 16th of the 2023 in the Barony of Caer Galen.
Please note the following should you wish to compete for this honor!
– You will perform two pieces, one must be spoken word, the other is your choice! Originals are encouraged but not required.
– Performances will be during the Midwinter feast, so please plan accordingly.
– Competition will include both those vying to be Windhover Bard and the Bard of Caer Galen. You are welcome to compete for both!
If you are named the next Windhover Bard, your duties include attending Crown and Coronation, hosting the next Windhover Bard competition one year hence, writing an original song for the Windhover Bard book, and furthering bardic pursuits throughout the Outlands!
