Come see the majesty and spectacle that is the time-honored tradition of finding Heirs to the Stag Throne! Witness mighty warriors fight in honor of their consorts to secure their name in Outlands history. Cheer for your favorites and gaze upon the glory that brave Outlands fighters bring to the field in the merry Barony of Caer Galen. Bring your banners and finery to decorate the hall! Since this is an indoor site, floor or table stands are required. Some tables and chairs will be provided, as well as bleachers for seating.  

We will also be featuring a bake sale hosted by Countess Mariana, with proceeds going toward the Kingdom Travel Fund and Lord Ivar from Sampo Artifacts will be there with a selection of pottery for sale. 

On Sunday, we will be hosting both the Princess Protector Rapier tourney and the Outlands Warlord Heavy Weapons tournament. See below for the formats. 

Formats

Princess Protector Format

First Blood
*We go for the wound here, striking your opponent in a lethal area (head, torso, groin, femoral artery) counts against you, and as a win for you opponent
Double Elimination (subject to change)
First to 3 wins
*First to 3 clear, definitive wins, doubles do not award a win, and thus, do not count for either fighters
Bring your best defensive secondary
*single point will be restricted to only those who are not authorized in defensive secondaries at the time of the event
*cloak throwing, despite both society and kingdom law, will be banned for this tournament
*Bye fights will however be fought single point in the off-hand
Bye fight’s are immediately destructive
This tournament will be fought with blades no longer than 40″, measured from the shoulder of the tang to the tip of the blade
*Blades shorter than the listed length may be used as well
