There are many physical activities to participate in as part of the SCA. These range from donning armor or picking up a rapier, to loosing an arrow or throwing an axe at a target, to galloping astride your gallant steed.

The Office of the Earl Marshal is in charge of Martial Arts activities across the Kingdom and the running of tournaments for participants to test their mettle against each other.
