The Kingdom Scribe is responsible for finding scribes, calligraphers, and illuminators to create unique pieces of art given as “thank-yous” by the Kingdom.

Award scrolls are commissioned by The Crown, or local Barons, in order to thank members for their participation and efforts in the SCA.

Remember, you must be a paid member in order to receive an award, and somebody has to write up an award recommendation on your behalf.  Anybody can make an award recommendation, even non-members and Mundanes.
